This product consists of 7 oz. of insulation per square yard. It is made of high memory supple polyester fibers that are
quilted to either a nylon or fleece inner liner that retains its thickness and performance after many wash/dry/cycles.
Designed to be compact and soft, yet resilient and refluffable, providing softer insulation that conforms to body shape for
greater comfort. The DuPont patented blend of four-hole fibers allow Hollofil II to provide greater warmth without added weight.

Fabric coating developed for all-weather performance protection against the product of consoltex elements. Hydroflex

coated fabrics are waterproof, breathable, washable and wind resistant.
HIPORA
®
, developed by Kolon, has created a moisture permeable, water resistant and breathable glove insert made of a
polyerethane coating that shuts out moisture from the outside, but allows moisture or warm steam from the body out.
A combination of 5.5 oz. of polyester felt, 5 oz. of Airlock and a layer of Mylar.
IVS or an Integrated Ventilation System is the only system that combines superior water resistance and maximum
breathability. It has infinite adjustability allowing the wearer precise airflow control to adjust to the changing tem-
peratures throughout the day allowing fresh dry air to exchange with humid air to keep the garment warm and dry.

abrasions, tears and scuffs and is two times more durable than standard nylon.

HydroBarrier waterproofing system, brought to you exclusively by Katahdin Gear, begins with durable, waterproof outer
shells and strengthens the integrity of the barrier by sealing the

, a functional fabric with a breathable membrane. It is an advanced textile with a highly developed polyurethane resin
coating or membrane. This technology makes it possible for an extremely thin waterproof coating that is lightweight for wearing
comfort, yet extremely durable to outdoor sports conditions.
DENIER - the weight of a thread used to weave a fabric (ie - a thread with
the length of 1000 yards, weighing 400 grams is considered 400 Denier)
COATING - Polyurethane coating is typically used on nylons for
outdoor recreation. It is applied to the backside of fabrics to
make them waterproof.
Airguard is a durable, yet soft and lightweight fabric that is easy to care for and keeps its shape even after repeated wash-
ing. It is 20% lighter than normal Polyamide 6 and Polyamide 6.6, and 52% lighter than polyester. It’s unique air hole
feature keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
This waterproof fabric has a very supple feel and look, but with a great tearing resistance. The 70 Denier thread is manu-
factured by DuPont

and the fabric is manufactured in North America.
