The Wide Tracs are designed to move ATV wheels slightly out from the
hubs and shocks.
There are several major benefits provided by Wide Tracs:
1)
They extend wheel width for greater stability & increased safety. Riders
of tall ATVs will feel much more comfortable on side hills with the wider
base provided by Wide Tracs.
2)
They provide mud tires a fresh “bite” at the side of ruts
instead of the ATV simply driving down the deepest part of
the center of the ruts where previous riders have been. So the
problem of getting stuck by being “high centered” is reduced.
3)
They allow the installation of larger, aftermarket tires without rubbing
shocks, struts or exhaust systems. Machined from aircraft grade 6061
billet aluminum and use grade 8 studs. No OEM studs are required to
be removed from the ATV and stud extenders are not used. Wide Tracs
bolt to existing studs and the wheel is then bolted to the grade 8 Wide
Trac Stud furnished. Strongest available design and are comparable to
automotive grade wheel adapters.Wide Tracs available in all popular bolt
patterns in 1” and 1.5” widths.
Utility WideTracs
in 4/110 bolt pattern are designed permitting the
installation of wheel center caps, an option that is not provided by any
competitor product.
1) They extend wheel width for greater stability and increased safety,
they provide mud tires a fresh “Bite” at the side of ruts. 2) They reduce
the problem of getting stuck by being “high centered”. 3) They permit
installation of larger tires without rubbing shocks, struts, or exhaust
systems.
Sport Wide Tracs
are designed to move ATV wheels up to an even 1.5”
out from the hubs and effectively extend the width between the tires.
Extended wheel width greatly increases stability and safety at higher
speeds and in off-camber (side hill) situations.
THESE KITSWILL FITTHE FRONT ORTHE REAR AS LONG ASTHE
BOLT PATTERNS ARE THE SAME.
