Heavy duty long life organic material for heavier touring bikes. Being a semi-sintered pad containing 30% copper by weight, theV-pad combines
the benefits of the “feel” of an organic pad plus the low heat generation and rotor galling features that organics have with the lifetime of a
sintered pad. Wear Rate/Projected Street Miles - 0.75 grammes eq. to 42,800 miles.
Designed primarily for ATV use in contaminated riding conditions the EBC SV series pads are a high density version of our successful R
series pad blend. Being higher in density these pads last longer than anything else in the EBC family and will stand up against any pad you
can buy. They are also very low in rotor abrasion and will not damage your brake rotor. If longest mileage and a pad that will last longer is
your target buy, then SV Series is the choice to make. Sintered copper brakes are made by one of two processes, pressure sintering in a
vacuum furnace or sintering through a belt furnace in a controlled atmosphere. The steel backing plates for the brake pads are copper coated
and a preformed sintered copper “Puck” is located onto pips in the plate (either male or female) and the parts are passed through a furnace.
At a pre-determined temperature the copper coating under the pad puck melts and fused the puck and plate together.
The EBC MX-S or Moto X Sport and Race pads are a sintered copper brake pad made in the EBC Brakes plant in the USA and feature
several unique features and extras. MX-S should be chosen if you want long life, great brakes from cold right up to high heat with minimal
rotor damage. Compared to many other pads the MX-S range features a diamond ground surface finish for fast bed in appreciated by racers
who do not want to spend time bedding in brakes before a race and because they are inorganic they require no chemical or heat bedding

Many of us enjoy riding off road and getting the brakes red hot. For that group the R series pads are an ideal choice for Off Road Riding. R series
pads are a sintered copper alloy pad made in our USA sintered production plant to deliver a medium to high friction pad, at an attractive price
point that lasts well in all conditions of wet, mud water or sand. R series pads are equally well applied to two wheel and four wheel machines
and as such are very well liked amongst ATV riders especially due to the conditions on some rides where the rear ATV rotor hangs down in
the mud and chews through lower quality pads in a weekend. The EBC series pads are available for all modern ATV and Moto X bikes and
are priced well below original parts. R series pads are also designed for minimum rotor abrasion and will not damage your bikes brake rotors.
