Actual tensions of springs vary from poundages and rates listed herein which are only COMET spring tension objectives. Certified spring tensions
would cause springs to be significantly more expensive. Industry standards for springs permit an initial variance of ± 10%.
To “pre-load” these springs for greater initial tension, up to 3 spring shims (part #203849) may be used with most of them. “Bottoming out’’ of a
spring coil upon coil even once will hasten its deterioration so avoid using 3 shims if the “bottoming out” condition should result. * : Most popular

Torque Converter • If you require cam arms for a 1993-94 108 EXP with a 5/16” pivot bolt, it will be necessary to purchase
cam arms listed here and push bushings out.
*Arms with an asterisk (*) are supplied from Comet only w/special performance bushing, factory pre-installed. Kit #
208342 contains 3 replacements of this bushing.
***Actual gram weights of arms vary from weights listed herein which are only Comet arm weight objectives. Certified
part weights would cause arms to be significantly more expensive. The variance may occasionally exceed 2 grams per
arm and is a result of greater or lesser density, one part to another - a result, in turn, of the sintered metal manufacturing
process used in arm construction.
